D-023 Combination Air Valve for Sewage
Responding to the demands of special conditions for sewage, ARI developed a new model of sewage air valve, keeping the unique features of the "SAAR" combination air valve together with the advantage of the spring loaded joint between the stem and the upper float and a larger kinetic orifice. This feature prevents vibration of the lower float, pre-mature closing of the automatic valve and superior reliability during kinetic operation.
Guarantees complete separation of the liquid from sealing mechanism by creating an air gap at the top of the valve.
- Control air in the sewage system for maximum flow efficiency and system protection
- Unique patented external level prevents contact between the sewage and the sealing mechanism and eliminates orifice clogging, by floating solids, ensuring a drip tight seal.
- The large automatic (small) orifice discharges high air flow rates even while under pressure thereby preventing system obstructions. (Recommended for saline effluent where S02 emissions can be significant).
- High strength / low weight construction that ensures excellent corrosion protection and virtually maintenance free operation.
- Proven ARI Sewage Relieve valve design provides reliable, consistent, effective and low maintenance operation.
- Extra thick standard coating: epoxy phenol 250 microns provides high resistance to chemical corrosion and mechanical wear and tear. (Tested under accelerated corrosion salt call test - for 1000 hours and demonstrated to have significant benefits to other traditional coating systems).
Reliable operation reduces water hammer incidents.
Dynamic design allows high velocity air discharge, preventing premature closing.
Lightweight, simple and reliable structure.
All inner metal parts are made of stainless steel.
Steel body - Epoxy Phenol to 250 microns
Working pressure range: 0.2 - 16 BAR.
Available in 80mm and 100mm flange sizes.
